The Customer Service Representative reports to the Branch Manager and, if so designated the Operations Manager.
Assist branch management and staff in a support capacity.
Do preliminary qualification of potential customers and telephone solicitation.
Answer customer questions, solve customer concerns and set up service calls if appropriate.
- Perform clerical duties necessary to operate the branch.
- Maintain ledger account cards.
- Keep invoicing and receivables up to date.
- Verify production runs.
- Answer customer inquiries.
- Qualify prospective customers.
- Help save customers from cancellation.
- Other tasks as assigned by the branch management.
May contact appropriate departments as needed.
Levels of Authority
With Branch Managers authorization, can determine when to close delinquent accounts. Corrects production reports in concurrence from the lawn technicians. Answers customer questions.
Willing to spend whatever time is necessary to help ensure the smooth operation of the branch. Must be able to work as part of a team.
High school graduate. Light typing and clerical skills.
Experience in general office work, answering the telephone and dealing with the public.
A willingness to help people, strong verbal skills and a pleasant phone maner. This position requires a mature attitude and is able to accept responsibility, follow directions, and able decisions.
